Manik Surtani (loonix) is the chief promoter of javafreedom.org. The initial creator of the bugtracker, and after a few early iterations, created javafreedom as a container to help develop the bugtracker further. Other software will also be hosted here. Manik currently resides in Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka, a tropical island in the Indian Ocean, just south of India itself.
